Like All Wild Ideas

It started with a conversation.

Me: “I would eventually like to run 1:35-1:38 half marathon.”

Elliot (my coach): “You definitely have that in you. I think you have 90 minutes in you, but it will take some injury free training!”

Me: “Let’s make it a goal!”

And just like that, Chasing90 was born. Over the next several months I will take you along with me as I train for this goal. You can expect to read the good, the bad and the ugly. Posts will be raw and unfiltered. You’ve been warned. I will share workouts, my go-tos and possibly some guest blog posts. Most importantly, I hope you will feel inspired to chase a goal you’ve only dreamed about!

In preparation for 2019, here are my goals.

Season Goals:

  1. 90 minute half marathon
  2. sub 7:00 min/mile 10k
  3. Stay healthy

Training Goals:

  1. Variety of training
  2. Consistency with strength training
  3. Enjoy and trust the process
